Abstract: 

Sandflies, like Anopheles mosquitoes, transmit diseases such as leishmaniasis and sandfly fever. If they can eat blood from a person, they can cause the above diseases. The holy defense has occurred in large areas of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in the southwest and northwest of Iran, and those areas have been the center of activity and reproduction of sandflies. This article is about sandflies and their control during the Holy Defense pays.

Abstract: 

A sensorless Vector control strategy for induction machine (IM) operating in variable speed systems is presented. The sensorless control is based on a reduced-order linear observer based on terminal voltage and current as input signals. An estimation algorithm based on this observer is proposed to compute speed. It is shown that the proposed sensorless control is more sensitive to the stator resistance than to the rotor resistance. In order to tune the observer and to compensate for the parameter variations and the uncertainties, a separate estimation of the stator resistance is introduced. The equations to estimate the stator resistance are derived from the machine differential equations. For certain operating regions of the machine, it is verified that the stator resistance can be accurately estimated regardless of wide stator resistance variation. It is shown that design and hardware implementation of this method is simpler than the previous works. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate the good performance of the proposed observer and estimation algorithm and of the overall indirect-field-oriented-controlled system.

Abstract: 

In this researche, effect of lateral liquid Freon injection on the thrust Vector deviation is investigated. For this purpose, variation of different parameters as liquid injection from injector in to the nozzle and its effect on the trust deviation are considered. In this system, some of the most important parameters are; injection mass flow rate, angle injection, position injection and main flow rate from nozzle to the main flow. Simulation of flow field has been done using Fluent 6.2.16 software and for result validation, some experimental data have been used. The results shows that the optimum position of injection is about 35-40 percentage of divergent nozzle length from throat position, angle of injection has negligible effect on deviation of thrust Vector and optimum values of mass flow injection depend on position of injection.

Abstract: 

This paper includes modeling and simulation of 180 MW units of pumped storage power plant with Variable speed machines. In this method، voltage source inverters are used instead of traditional cyclo-converters. This paper aims to control the voltage source inverters and maintain DC voltage at a constant value. AC/ DC/ AC converter is used in system configuration structure in order to control and change voltage and frequency. AC / DC converter is a three-phase rectifier bridge as well as DC / AC converter is a single phase inverter which includes 12 IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) and output includes constant voltage designed from inverters output. Firstly، the control structure of the machine and the transformer sections will be described and the block diagram of each part is shown، then the equations for each part descried and the overall control structure of plant will be achieved. The simulation of this methods by applying Matlab software have been presented.

Abstract: 

Background: Mosquito control Programs are articulated to control Mosquito Borne Diseases and success of such programs depends on the activities of field workers, and their adherence to the standard operating procedures (SOP’s) is governed by their knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP). Present study was intended to assess the KAP of mosquito control workers of Pakistan to get an exact depiction of prevailing situation.   Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in March-April 2020. Questionnaire containing 30 closed and open-ended questions were administrated to participants. Knowledge and practices were evaluated using a scoring system i. e., by giving 1 point to each correct answer while attitude questions were analyzed individually and expressed in percentage for each response. Results: Total 639 workers were interviewed, mean age was 29. 8 (SD ±7. 87) years, majority (65. 1%) was in age group of 18–30 years. Mean knowledge score was 6. 96±1. 28 (range 0–9) with 77. 36% correct answers (P= 0. 073). Mean prac­tices score was 7. 00±1. 62 (range 2–9) with 77. 83% appropriate answers (P< 0. 001). Both knowledge and practices scores were higher for permanent employees, practices score increased with increase in job experience. Very weak posi­tive correlation (r= 0. 127) was observed between knowledge and practice scores. Conclusion: Appropriate practice correlates with better knowledge and positive attitude towards control activities. Hence, training on protection and protective measures for having a positive attitude among healthcare workers is neces­sary against the fight with mosquitoes.

Abstract: 

A common method for controlling a group of parallel converters in decentralized control strategy structure in an island microgrid, the use is the droop-down characteristics of frequency ω-P and voltage E-Q. However, the problem with using this method is that the reactive power is not properly distributed (in proportion to the capacity of the micronutrients) between the micronutrients, which may lead to overload in the converters. Microgrids may also suffer from dynamic stability problems such as power fluctuations, which can be increased by switching between active and reactive power control. To avoid this problem, the X / R ratio of transmission lines is an important parameter that should be carefully considered in the design of micronutrient controllers. By linearizing and simplifying conditions, the control system conversion function model becomes a single input-single output system, which is efficient enough to show the relationship between control parameters such as slope of droop characteristics and derivative sentences, virtual impedance, and voltage controllers. Using this model, stability conditions for different parameters are analyzed. Also, to improve power distribution stability, common droop strategies are modified by adjusting the slope as well as adding nonlinear sentence sections. This approach reduces the coupling between active and reactive power control and reduces the dependence of power distribution on grid parameters such as the X / R ratio. To evaluate the reliability of the proposed model, the simulation results in a sample island microgrid in MATLAB software are presented.
